Athletic Injury Prevention
Location: Online, self-paced

Course Description:
This course is a state-approved, lesson-based, online program for prevention and care. This guided, online format will take approximately 20 hours to complete and meets all requirements for this portion of the state-required core subject matter. This online course fulfills part of the requirements for a coaching authorization certificate, which is required for anyone coaching at the junior high or high school level.
Course Outcomes:
- Recognize athletic injuries.
- Articulate the purpose of ace bandage wraps.
- Evaluate athletic injuries.
- Articulate taping procedures.
- Formulate a treatment and rehabilitation program for an injured athlete.
